About The Class:

Come and learn the art and wisdom of Seeing.​ As we move into the dark season, the veil becomes thin and the sensation of magic and mystery is palpable. Prepare for the seasons turning and Winter by sharpening your ability to see and know. In this class we will practice age old divination methods, as well as work to develop personal intuition that guides you effortlessly through life. This class is a unique opportunity to learn and practice traditional Scandinavian and Scottish divination methods in person. Much of what we will learn was often practiced around Yule and Samhain.

During the workshop, students will make a talisman that supports and nurtures their intuition. 

 

It is said that those who can see into the unknown have wisdom, and that developing the art of seeing also develops wisdom within oneself. That which is supported and nurtured grows.

In the workshop you will:

​

• Learn ways to develop your personal intuition and ability to see into the unknown

• Learn to divine the future and best possible roads to take 

• Release blocks that are holding you back from listening to your own personal guidance

• Learn ways to use your intuition daily

• Practice and learn traditional folk methods of divination and intuition

• Learn to use mirrors, candles, scrying bowls, cards, keys, pendulums, rings, tree branches, the sieve and shears, and more

• Learn about the Swedish divination method Årsgång, typically done at Yule and Midsommar

• Practice reading for other people

• Make a talisman that nurtures your intuition 

 

The Course Contains:

A 5 hr class on October 13th 10:30-3:30 at the Quarry Arts Building, Madison WI

We will take a 45 min lunch break and fika. Apple cider and cookies will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring any additional food they need for lunch/snacks.

Course Fee:

This class is offered on a sliding scale. Space is limited. In order to secure your spot, the workshop will need to be paid in full at the time of sign up. If you cancel on or prior to October 10th, the class is 75% refundable. After October 10th, the class is non-refundable.
